About Brian Diamond
Brian Diamond is the founder and CEO of LANStatus, a managed services provider in Trumbull, Connecticut, and a fractional Chief AI Officer working with mid-market and enterprise companies on AI strategy, governance and operations.
He founded LANStatus in 2001 to integrate new technology on top of existing client infrastructure — a foundation that grew into an enterprise consulting practice across the Microsoft, HPE, Citrix and VMware ecosystems. LANStatus today serves customers across aerospace, education, financial services, government and healthcare.
His approach combines business-management experience with hands-on technical depth. Building on a cross-training model, he creates highly efficient organizations that use fewer people across multiple roles — an operating philosophy that has produced low turnover and durable client relationships across the company’s 25-year history.
In addition to LANStatus, Brian works as a fractional Chief AI Officer and publishes The CAIO Brief, a newsletter on practical AI leadership. He brings 29 years of infrastructure operations — virtualization, cloud, VDI and hybrid architecture — to the work of helping companies move AI from policy to production.
